Anti-COMP Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against COMP (Cartilage oligomeric matrix protein). The unconjugated IgG reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications and has been shown to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 20–160 of human COMP (NP_000086.2). The antibody is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% Glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and is purified by affinity chromatography. The target protein has an expected molecular weight of 110 kDa. Recommended dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:1,000 and ICC/IF: 1:50–1:200. Concentration is lot specific.

The product is shipped at 4°C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
