Anti-COLQ Antibody

Primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets COLQ, the collagen-like tail subunit that anchors acetylcholinesterase to the synaptic basal lamina at the neuromuscular junction. The reagent is a rabbit polyclonal IgG, supplied unconjugated as a 200 µl aliquot validated for Western blot in mouse and rat samples.

The antibody recognizes the collagenic tail of asymmetric AChE and supports studies of congenital myasthenic syndromes, neuromuscular junction organization, and cholinergic signaling. It is used in SDS-PAGE workflows followed by immunoblotting to detect endogenous COLQ in skeletal muscle, sciatic nerve, and brain lysates from rodent tissue.

Aliquot on receipt and store at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw cycles; avoid repeated freeze-thaw of the working stock. Brief centrifugation prior to opening collects liquid at the base of the vial. Refer to the lot-specific data sheet for recommended working dilution and blocking conditions.
