Anti-Colorectal Carcinoma Antibody [Y94] - Identical to Thermo (MA1-21392)

A mouse monoclonal antibody (clone Y94) raised against human colorectal carcinoma and supplied by Antibodies.com as a lyophilised preparation intended for immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples. The reagent is of the IgG1 isotype and is supplied unconjugated, to be reconstituted in double distilled water at a reconstitution-dependent concentration. It is formulated from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.0 and purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.

According to the manufacturer, the antibody recognises both frozen and formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human colorectal carcinoma tissues and can detect the presence of the tumour-associated antigen in the serum of patients with colorectal carcinoma. It reacts with the mucin-like oncofetal pancarcinoma antigen, glycoprotein TAG-72 (molecular weight 220–400 kDa). The antibody does not recognise normal adult tissues such as liver, colon, breast, stomach, lymph node and kidney.

The product is shipped at 4 °C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
