Anti-COL4A6 (G1223) Antibody

COL4A6 encodes an alpha-6(IV) chain of type IV collagen, a structural component of basement membranes whose mutations underlie X-linked Alport syndrome and the related diffuse leiomyomatosis phenotype, so robust detection of the endogenous protein is valuable in kidney, smooth-muscle, and dermal pathology workflows. This rabbit polyclonal reagent, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG preparation, was raised against an epitope spanning residue G1223 of the human COL4A6 sequence and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples.
