Description
A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminus of human COL1A2 is available from Antibodies.com. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2, and is reported to detect endogenous levels of the Collagen alpha-2(I) chain protein.
Affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, the antibody shows a reported purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE, with the target protein migrating at approximately 125 kDa. It is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence applications, and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.
