Anti-COL19A1 (Y442) Antibody

Affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal IgG raised against a synthetic peptide spanning the region around tyrosine 442 of human collagen type XIX alpha 1, supplied by Antibodies.com as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2.

The unconjugated reagent specifically detects collagen type XIX (COL19A1), a disulfide-linked FACIT-family collagen localized to vascular, neuronal, and mesenchymal basement membrane zones. Reactivity is restricted to the human COL19A1 sequence, and the antibody is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human tissue samples, including applications tracking expression during skeletal myogenesis in the developing esophagus and at the neuromuscular junction.
