The COG4 protein is a subunit of the Conserved Oligomeric Golgi (COG) complex, a multi-subunit tethering factor that mediates retrograde vesicular trafficking within the Golgi apparatus. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and is validated for detection of endogenous COG4 in human, mouse, and rat samples.

Validated applications include western blot analysis of cell and tissue lysates and immunofluorescence labeling of fixed cells, allowing researchers to monitor expression levels and subcellular localization of COG4 at the Golgi. The unconjugated IgG is supplied at 50 µl volume and is compatible with standard anti-rabbit secondary antibodies conjugated to HRP, Alexa Fluor, or other reporters.

The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes across the COG4 protein, which is useful when probing splice variants, post-translationally modified forms, or partially degraded samples. COG4 mutations are linked to Saul-Wilson syndrome and a broader class of congenital disorders of glycosylation, so reliable COG4 detection supports studies of Golgi homeostasis, vesicular transport, and glycoprotein processing in disease models.
