The gamma subunit of the conserved oligomeric Golgi tethering complex, COG2 forms part of lobe A, an eight-subunit peripheral membrane assembly that mediates retrograde vesicular trafficking between cis- and medial-Golgi cisternae. Disruption of this lobe alters Golgi architecture, impairs glycosylation efficiency, and compromises retrieval of resident Golgi enzymes.
This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against COG2 and validated for western blot and immunofluorescence on human, mouse, and rat samples. The 100 µl format supports chromogenic and fluorescence-based detection of endogenous protein in cell lysates and fixed tissue sections, making it suitable for studies of Golgi organization, membrane trafficking dynamics, and congenital disorders of glycosylation.
