Anti-Cofilin (phospho-S3) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets Cofilin only when phosphorylated at Serine 3. Validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), it reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Cofilin 1 around the Serine 3 phosphorylation site, and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using this epitope-specific immunogen. Reported purity is > 95% by SDS-PAGE, and the antibody recognises a target band at ~ 19 kDa.

It detects endogenous levels of Cofilin protein only when phosphorylated at Ser3, providing a phospho-specific reagent for the listed species.
