Anti-Cofilin 2 Antibody

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognises human Cofilin 2, a muscle-enriched actin-binding protein of the ADF/cofilin family that drives sarcomeric thin-filament turnover in skeletal and cardiac muscle. Supplied as 100 µl of liquid, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows on human samples and binds the native protein in both monomeric and filament-associated states.

Useful for studies of myofibrillar assembly, sarcomere remodelling, and the pathobiology of nemaline myopathy type 7, where CFL2 mutations disrupt thin-filament organisation, the antibody performs in standard denaturing WB protocols and in IF imaging of cultured myotubes and skeletal muscle cryosections. It is provided as a polyclonal reagent in unconjugated format for direct detection or for pairing with secondary antibodies in single-plex immunofluorescence.
