Anti-CNTN6 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises the human CNTN6 protein, also known as Contactin 6. The antibody is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, and has been validated for Western blot (WB) applications with human samples. CNTN6 belongs to the contactin family of neural recognition molecules, with listed synonyms Contactin-6, hNB-3 and Neural recognition molecule NB-3, and antibodies against this target are widely used as cortical neuron markers.

The antibody is affinity-purified and supplied as a liquid. The immunogen was a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 20–110 of human CNTN6 (NP_055276.1), and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 114 kDa. The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery, aliquot and store at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

For Western blotting, the manufacturer recommends a working dilution of 1:500–1:1,000.
