CNPY3 (Canopy FGF Signaling Regulator 3) is an endoplasmic reticulum-resident chaperone that supports proper folding and cell-surface trafficking of Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), while also modulating FGF-dependent signaling during neural crest and craniofacial development. This Rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com provides a specific detection tool for studying CNPY3 expression across human, mouse, and rat samples in both immunological and developmental biology contexts.

Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, the unconjugated antibody is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol. For Western blot, loading 20–40 µg of total protein generally yields a band near the predicted molecular weight of approximately 28 kDa, although higher apparent weights have been reported for glycosylated CNPY3. For immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections, heat-induced antigen retrieval in citrate buffer (pH 6.0) followed by overnight incubation with the primary antibody at 4 °C is a commonly used protocol. The polyclonal format provides broader epitope coverage than monoclonal reagents, which can be helpful when probing for splice variants or post-translationally modified forms of CNPY3.

For storage, keep the antibody at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles; the 50% glycerol content keeps the solution liquid and stable at -20 °C and also allows short-term storage at 4 °C for several weeks. Avoid sodium azide–sensitive downstream workflows such as live-cell staining or direct HRP coupling without thorough washing, unless the antibody is first dialyzed or ultrafiltered to remove the preservative. This reagent is supplied for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
