Anti-CNPase Antibody

The polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets CNPase (2',3'-cyclic nucleotide 3'-phosphodiesterase), a membrane-associated enzyme concentrated in myelin sheaths of the central and peripheral nervous system. Raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl, this unconjugated preparation recognizes the target in Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting cross-species studies of myelination and oligodendrocyte lineage biology.

CNPase is widely used as a marker for mature oligodendrocytes and Schwann cells, with the two principal isoforms migrating at approximately 46 kDa (CNP1) and 48 kDa (CNP2) on western blot.
