CMTM6 (CKLF-like MARVEL transmembrane domain-containing protein 6) is a regulator of PD-L1 stability at the plasma membrane and is a target of active investigation in tumor immunology and immune checkpoint biology. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the human CMTM6 protein and is supplied as a 100 µl vial for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. The polyclonal host background provides broad epitope recognition, which is helpful when probing tissue samples where multiple CMTM6 isoforms or post-translational variants may be present. Published studies have used CMTM6 antibodies to characterize co-expression with PD-L1 in melanoma and non-small cell lung carcinoma specimens, to follow loss of PD-L1 surface expression after CMTM6 knockout in cancer cell lines, and to map subcellular localization by immunofluorescence staining. In western blot, the reagent is applied to whole-cell lysates prepared from cultured human cancer cell lines; for immunohistochemistry, it is used on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections of patient tumor biopsies to assess CMTM6 status alongside PD-L1 scoring. The unconjugated format gives flexibility to pair with HRP-conjugated, fluorophore-labeled, or biotinylated secondary antibodies depending on the detection platform in the laboratory. Aliquot upon arrival and store frozen at -20°C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light to maintain binding activity across multiple experiments. Each vial is intended for research use only and is validated for the listed applications on human samples.
