Anti-CMTM1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the CMTM1 target, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3. CMTM1 (CKLF-like MARVEL transmembrane domain-containing 1, also called CKLFSF1) sits at the interface between classical chemokine-like factors and four-transmembrane-domain proteins, and is detected in testis, lymphoid tissue, and several epithelial lineages, with published involvement in spermatogenesis, T-cell signaling, and tumor biology including hepatocellular and prostate cancer research. The antibody is validated for Western blot analysis of endogenous CMTM1 in human, mouse, and rat samples, allowing cross-species expression comparison in cell culture lysates and tissue homogenates from a single reagent. Because it is supplied unconjugated, laboratories can conjugate it to HRP, biotin, or a fluorophore according to their detection chemistry, and the PBS-based formulation with 0.05% sodium azide is compatible with standard immunoblotting protocols. Aliquoting on receipt is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the 1 mg/ml stock.
