Anti-CLU Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody to Clusterin (CLU) is offered by Antibodies.com within their Primary Antibodies catalogue. The unconjugated IgG reagent is raised in rabbit and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications.

The antibody was generated against a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 314–449 of the human Clusterin alpha chain (NP_001822.3). It is supplied as a liquid preparation with a reported molecular weight of 37–40 kDa. The formulation consists of Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, and the antibody has been affinity purified.

Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for IHC. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
