CLP36 (also known as PDLIM1) is an actin-associated scaffolding protein that localizes to stress fibers and focal adhesions, where it contributes to cytoskeletal organization and signal transduction at integrin-based adhesion sites. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody, distributed by Antibodies.com, was raised against CLP36 and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows, supporting studies of cell adhesion, mechanotransduction, and cytoskeletal remodeling in human, mouse, and rat samples.

Each vial is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum, aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles and stored refrigerated for short-term use. The unconjugated format gives researchers flexibility to conjugate the reagent themselves to fluorophores, enzymes, or biotin depending on the detection chemistry of their assay. On western blot, a specific band is typically observed near 36 kDa, consistent with the apparent molecular weight of CLP36/PDLIM1.

Typical research applications include characterization of focal adhesion complexes, profiling of PDZ and LIM family members in cardiac and skeletal muscle tissue, and immunofluorescence staining of cultured cells to visualize stress fiber-associated proteins. The polyclonal host response provides recognition of multiple epitopes on CLP36, which can be useful when probing for isoforms or post-translational modifications.

Intended for research use only, the reagent is appropriate for academic and translational laboratories investigating cytoskeletal dynamics, integrin signaling, and adhesion-dependent processes. Store refrigerated and protect from light; aliquot and freeze for long-term storage to preserve antibody activity across repeated experiments.
