Anti-Clock Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the endogenous Clock protein and is offered as a 50 µl aliquot at 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody was raised against a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human Clock and purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, yielding an unconjugated Rabbit IgG preparation in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. Validated applications cover Western blot and immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded sections, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for circadian-rhythm studies across these species. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
