CLN3 encodes battenin, a multi-pass transmembrane glycoprotein that localizes to late endosomes and lysosomes. Loss-of-function mutations in this gene cause juvenile neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis (Batten disease), making it a major focus in neurodegeneration, autophagy, and lysosomal-storage research.
This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against CLN3 and validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry across human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µL liquid aliquot in a single-use vial format, and researchers commonly sub-aliquot on arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles during long-term storage at -20°C.
