This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit against CLEC4G and is validated for Western blot (WB) detection of the human target. CLEC4G (C-type lectin domain family 4 member G), also referred to as LSECtin, is a transmembrane lectin most strongly expressed on liver sinusoidal endothelial cells, where it participates in pathogen recognition, cell adhesion, and modulation of T-cell responses during viral infection. Researchers studying hepatic immunology, hepatitis B and E virus entry, and endothelial cell biology frequently use anti-CLEC4G antibodies to characterize LSEC populations in tissue lysates and to track viral attachment mechanisms. The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated IgG in a 100 µl liquid vial, allowing flexibility in downstream labeling or secondary detection workflows. For best results, aliquot upon arrival and store at -20°C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. Each lot is quality-controlled for human reactivity by Western blot under reducing conditions, producing a discrete band consistent with the predicted ~28 kDa CLEC4G polypeptide.
