Tetranectin, encoded by the CLEC3B gene, is a plasminogen-binding C-type lectin expressed in human plasma and connective tissue. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µL aliquot. Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, the antibody supports studies of fibrinolysis, bone remodeling, and tumor microenvironment biology, where tetranectin has been investigated as a circulating biomarker in conditions ranging from osteoarthritis to certain carcinomas. Storage at -20°C in working aliquots is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the glycerol-stabilized stock.
