CLEC14A (C-type lectin domain family 14, member A) is a single-pass transmembrane glycoprotein expressed predominantly on vascular endothelial cells, where it contributes to angiogenesis and vascular remodeling. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the CLEC14A protein and is validated for Western blot detection across human, mouse, and rat samples.

The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a stabilizer, provided as a 100 µl aliquot for routine immunoblotting workflows. Host species is rabbit, clonality is polyclonal, and the conjugate is unconjugated, giving researchers flexibility in downstream secondary antibody selection and detection chemistry such as HRP or fluorescent reporters.

Anti-CLEC14A antibodies are commonly used in studies of tumor angiogenesis, endothelial tip-cell behavior, filopodia formation during sprouting, and vascular development. CLEC14A has also been investigated as a vascular marker and candidate prognostic indicator in hepatocellular carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma, and certain breast cancer subtypes, where elevated endothelial expression has been linked to microvessel density and clinical outcome in published translational studies.
