Anti-Cleaved-Plasma Kallikrein HC (R390) Antibody

Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com selectively recognizes the heavy chain fragment of plasma kallikrein that is generated when the zymogen is cleaved at arginine 390. Because it discriminates the activated protease from the intact circulating precursor, it is a useful tool for tracking contact-pathway activation in studies of coagulation, bradykinin generation, and hereditary angioedema research. The antibody is validated for Western blot to detect the heavy chain under reducing conditions, for immunohistochemistry on human tissue sections, and for ELISA. Each vial is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, ready for direct labeling or use as a primary antibody.
