The Cleaved-Ephrin-A2 (N188) polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and specifically recognizes the N-terminal fragment of Ephrin-A2 generated after proteolytic cleavage at residue 188. Ephrin-A2 is a GPI-anchored cell surface ligand that normally signals through Eph receptors to direct axon guidance, cell migration, and tissue boundary formation; proteolytic shedding at the N188 site liberates a soluble fragment with distinct biological activity, making selective detection of the cleaved species important in studies of developmental patterning, angiogenesis, and tumor microenvironment signaling.

Validated for Western Blot across human, mouse, and rat samples, this unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. Aliquot upon receipt and store refrigerated at 4°C to preserve activity; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes on the cleaved fragment, supporting reliable band identification in cell lysate and tissue extract workflows.
