Anti-Cleaved-Caspase-5 p10 (S331) Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and selectively recognizes the p10 subunit of human caspase-5 only after proteolytic activation at the S331 site, when the inflammatory cysteine protease has been processed into its mature form. Because the antibody is raised against the cleaved neo-epitope, it reports inflammasome-driven pyroptosis signaling rather than the inactive zymogen, making it a useful marker for tracking caspase-5 activation in human monocytes, macrophages, and THP-1 models of inflammasome stimulation.

Applied in Western blot and ELISA workflows, the antibody is supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated antiserum and pairs naturally with reagents against gasdermin D, pro-IL-1β, or the p20 subunit for a broader read-out of inflammasome output. It is reactive with human samples; cross-reactivity with mouse, rat, or other species has not been determined in the available validation data.
