CLDN2 (Claudin-2) is a transmembrane tight junction protein belonging to the claudin family, where it forms paracellular pores that regulate epithelial barrier function and selective ion permeability. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and is validated for western blot and immunofluorescence workflows against human samples. The 100 µl volume is supplied for research applications investigating tight junction biology, intestinal and renal epithelial transport, and dysregulated CLDN2 expression patterns reported in colorectal and gastric carcinomas. The antibody detects endogenous claudin-2 in cultured epithelial cell lines and tissue sections, supporting studies on barrier integrity, leaky epithelia, and the role of CLDN2 in tumor progression and metastasis. Store refrigerated and protect from light to preserve activity across multiple experiments.
