Anti-CLDN1 Antibody

This Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against CLDN1 (claudin-1) and targets the endogenous total CLDN1 protein in human, mouse, and rat samples. The immunogen is a recombinant human CLDN1 protein, and the antibody is affinity-purified on the immunogen to maximise specificity. Supplied unconjugated at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, the reagent is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, making it suitable both for detecting the tight-junction protein in cell lysates and for localising it in tissue sections. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon arrival; repeated freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided to preserve activity.
