Anti-CLCN5 Antibody

This rabbit-derived polyclonal reagent targets the chloride voltage-gated channel 5 (CLCN5), an endosomal Cl⁻/H⁺ antiporter widely studied for its role in proximal tubule endocytosis. Produced by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG preparation at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the antibody is supplied as a 100 µl vial and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human, mouse, and rat samples. Researchers use this antibody to investigate Dent disease type 1, where loss-of-function mutations in CLCN5 disrupt renal solute handling, as well as CLCN5 expression patterns in the kidney, brain, and intestinal epithelium.
