Anti-CLCN2 Antibody

CLCN2 encodes a voltage-gated chloride channel (ClC-2) that contributes to transepithelial ion transport, neuronal chloride homeostasis, and cell-volume regulation. Loss-of-function mutations in the gene have been linked to familial hyperaldosteronism type II and to a subset of idiopathic generalized epilepsies, making reliable immunodetection of the channel valuable across endocrine and neuroscience research programs.

For western blotting, the antibody performs well with standard HRP-conjugated secondary reagents; for IHC, it is compatible with both chromogenic and fluorescent detection workflows on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections.
