Anti-Claudin-9 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and specifically targets Claudin-9, a predicted membrane protein localised to vesicles and cell junctions. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.9, and has been validated for Western blotting (WB) in human, mouse and rat samples. The antibody was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human Claudin-9 and detects endogenous levels of Claudin-9 protein. Affinity purification using the epitope-specific immunogen yielded a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE, and the target migrates at approximately 23 kDa. Claudin-9 expression is reported as tissue-enhanced in the brain and pituitary gland.
