Anti-Claudin-5 (S201) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as part of their primary antibody range, this product is a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against Claudin-5 and specific for the S201 epitope. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The antibody has been validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications, and it reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. It detects endogenous levels of Claudin-5 protein, which has a reported molecular weight of approximately 23 kDa.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 171-220 of human Claudin-5. The reagent was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, yielding a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
