Anti-Claudin-4 Antibody

Produced in rabbit and offered through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of human Claudin-4 surrounding the non-phosphorylation site at tyrosine 208, allowing sensitive detection of endogenous Claudin-4 protein in routine lysate and tissue workflows. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide at a final concentration of 1 mg/mL; it is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at -20°C, with care taken to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The antibody is validated for ELISA, Western blot and immunohistochemistry, and it reacts with human, mouse and rat samples, supporting cross-species epithelial marker studies.
