Anti-Claudin 1 (R197) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Claudin 1 (R197), supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary antibody. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF), and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 171–220 of Human Claudin-1 and detects endogenous levels of Claudin 1 protein.

It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein runs at a molecular weight of approximately 22 kDa. The product is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
