Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a primary polyclonal reagent, this anti-CLASP1 antibody is raised in rabbit and affinity-purified from antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen (recombinant full-length human CLASP1), reaching >95% purity by SDS-PAGE. The unconjugated product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is sold in a 50 µl size suitable for routine bench use. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF) on human, mouse and rat samples, detecting endogenous CLASP1 with an observed band around ~169 kDa. CLASP1 is a non-motor microtubule-associated protein that interacts with CLIPs such as CLIP170 and contributes to microtubule dynamics at kinetochores and throughout the spindle. For long-term storage, keep the glycerol-containing formulation at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve the polyclonal IgG fraction. Intended for research use only, this Antibodies.com reagent provides a convenient rabbit host option for laboratories studying mitotic spindle organization, kinetochore function and cytoskeletal regulation.
