CLASP1 (CLIP-associating protein 1) is a conserved microtubule-associated protein that localizes to growing microtubule plus ends and contributes to spindle assembly, kinetochore attachment, cell migration, and neuronal axon guidance. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against CLASP1 and is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. The vial contains 100 µl of liquid stock at approximately 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, providing a working concentration compatible with standard blocking and dilution buffers. Research applications include studies of mitotic spindle dynamics, microtubule catastrophe rescue, Golgi ribbon organization, and neuronal development, where CLASP1 function is probed alongside partner proteins such as CLASP2, EB1, and CLIP-170. Store at -20°C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light when in use.
