Anti-CKMT1A / CKMT1B Antibody

The target enzyme resides in the mitochondrial intermembrane space, where it catalyzes the reversible transfer of a high-energy phosphate between ATP and creatine. This reaction underlies the phosphocreatine shuttle that buffers cytosolic ATP levels, supports rapid energy supply at subcellular sites of high demand, and couples mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation with overall cellular energy homeostasis.
