Anti-CKM Antibody

The Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent targets CKM (Creatine Kinase, M-type), a cytoplasmic enzyme highly expressed in skeletal and cardiac muscle where it catalyses the reversible transfer of a phosphate group between ATP and phosphocreatine to buffer cellular energy demand. This unconjugated Rabbit host antibody is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on Human and Mouse samples, supporting studies of muscle differentiation, sarcomere assembly, and injury response including rhabdomyolysis, myocardial infarction, and muscular dystrophy research. Because it is a polyclonal reagent, it recognizes multiple epitopes across the CKM protein, which can be advantageous when detecting low-abundance targets or when working with denatured lysates in Western blot.
