Anti-CISH Antibody

Generated in rabbit and affinity-purified against the cytokine-inducible SH2-containing protein (CISH), this polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets an intracellular negative regulator of the JAK-STAT signaling cascade downstream of cytokine and growth factor receptors. CISH is best known for restraining T cell receptor signaling and IL-2 responsiveness, and altered CISH expression has been documented in tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, hematopoietic lineages, and inflammatory disease models, making the antigen a frequent target in immunology, oncology, and cytokine signaling research.

Validated for Western blot on human, mouse, and rat samples, the unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.5. The vial should be stored refrigerated and protected from light; the sodium azide acts as a preservative against microbial contamination.
