A polyclonal rabbit antibody from Antibodies.com targeting CISH (Cytokine-Inducible SH2-containing protein), a cytoplasmic suppressor of cytokine signaling (SOCS) family member that negatively regulates JAK-STAT signal transduction downstream of cytokine and T-cell receptor activation. This unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock formulated in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, ready to dilute into standard immunoblotting buffers. Reactivity is reported against human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative work across human cell line panels, primary lymphocyte lysates, and rodent tissue extracts. The antibody is validated for western blot (WB), where it is typically used to track endogenous CISH induction following stimulation with cytokines such as IL-2, IL-3, growth hormone, or erythropoietin, and to monitor how CISH protein levels shift during immune activation, tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte assays, or growth factor treatment. Investigators studying SOCS-family feedback inhibition, T-cell exhaustion, NK-cell receptor tuning, and tumor immune evasion use it to assess CISH upregulation, an area of active interest for checkpoint-resistance mechanisms and CAR-T optimization. Aliquot upon first thaw to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light where practical; the glycerol-containing buffer supports long-term storage while the sodium azide preserves microbial stability of working stocks.
