Cold-inducible RNA-binding protein (CIRBP) is a stress-responsive RNA chaperone upregulated in cells exposed to mild hypothermia, hypoxia, and oxidative challenge, where it helps stabilize transcripts and regulate translation during recovery. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and validated on human and murine samples, supporting Western blot detection of endogenous CIRBP in cell lysates and immunohistochemistry on cryosections or paraffin-embedded tissues.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, a buffer combination that permits short-term storage at 4 °C and longer-term stability at -20 °C when aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Investigators studying cellular stress responses, DNA damage signaling, and inflammatory pathways have used anti-CIRBP reagents to follow the protein's redistribution between the nucleus and cytoplasm after stress exposure. Because the reagent is unconjugated, it remains compatible with user-selected HRP, fluorophore, or biotin secondary detection systems.
