The Anti-CIP2A Antibody [S17-6] from Antibodies.com is a research-grade mouse monoclonal reagent targeting CIP2A (Cancerous Inhibitor of PP2A), a roughly 90 kDa oncoprotein that stabilises oncogenic signalling by suppressing the PP2A tumour suppressor phosphatase. CIP2A is overexpressed across many human malignancies, including head and neck, breast, gastric, hepatocellular, colorectal and non-small-cell lung carcinomas, where its abundance frequently correlates with proliferation, grade and poor prognosis, making it a focal marker in translational oncology workflows.

This S17-6 clone is produced in mouse as an IgM antibody and supplied as a liquid formulation in a 100 µg vial, unconjugated for flexible downstream labelling. It has been validated for western blot detection of endogenous CIP2A, immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded tissue sections (IHC-P) and immunocytochemistry (ICC) on cultured cells. The reagent recognises both human and mouse CIP2A, supporting parallel studies in patient-derived samples and corresponding murine disease models. For best stability, store at -20 °C in working aliquots and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity.
