Anti-CIDEB Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com, this reagent targets Cell Death-Inducing DFFA-Like Effector B (CIDEB), an apoptosis- and lipid-metabolism-associated protein expressed predominantly in liver and small intestine. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antibody at 1 mg/ml in PBS (pH 7.3) with 0.05% sodium azide, the reagent is validated for Western blot and cross-reacts with Human, Rat, and Mouse samples, making it useful for translational research across multiple model systems. CIDEB localizes to lipid droplets and endoplasmic reticulum membranes, where it promotes lipid droplet fusion and supports VLDL lipidation in hepatocytes — biological roles commonly investigated in hepatic steatosis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and programmed cell death studies.
