Capicua (CIC) is a conserved HMG-box transcriptional repressor involved in MAPK signaling output, brain development, and oligodendroglioma and other solid tumors where loss-of-function alters downstream target gene expression. Antibodies.com offers a rabbit host polyclonal primary reagent against this target, supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in phosphate buffered saline (pH ~7.2) with 0.05% sodium azide as preservative.
This unconjugated reagent is validated for western blot detection of CIC in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting reproducible work across common experimental model systems. Researchers use it to probe endogenous CIC levels in whole-cell lysates, validate CRISPR or RNAi knockdown efficiency, and characterize downstream pathway activity in cancer cell lines.
For best results, aliquot upon receipt to minimize freeze-thaw cycles, store refrigerated, and protect from light.
