The CIAPIN1 protein (cytokine-induced apoptosis inhibitor 1), also referred to as anamorsin, contributes to iron-sulfur cluster biogenesis and functions as an anti-apoptotic factor across multiple tissue contexts. Polyclonal reagents against CIAPIN1 are widely used in cancer biology and hematopoiesis research, where altered expression has been documented in hepatocellular carcinoma, gastric cancer, and erythroid lineage studies.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent, supplied by Antibodies.com, detects the CIAPIN1 target in both human and mouse samples, supporting cross-species experimental design. The antibody is formulated at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µl vial. Applications include western blot analysis of cell lysates and immunohistochemistry on tissue sections. The unconjugated format permits flexible pairing with secondary antibodies for fluorescence or chromogenic detection.

The 50% glycerol cryoprotectant buffer tolerates repeated freeze-thaw cycles typical of laboratory workflows. Polyclonal clonality broadens epitope recognition, which is helpful when probing splice variants or post-translational modifications of the target.
