Anti-CHST2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent, this Antibodies.com primary antibody recognizes carbohydrate sulfotransferase 2 (CHST2), the Golgi-resident type II transmembrane enzyme also designated C6ST or GlcNAc6ST-1 that transfers sulfate from PAPS to position 6 of N-acetylglucosamine residues on glycoproteins and glycolipids. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal serum and is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous CHST2 in human and mouse derived samples at typical working dilutions between 1:500 and 1:1000. The predicted molecular weight of full-length CHST2 is approximately 58 kDa, with shorter alternative splice isoforms migrating near 50–52 kDa on reducing SDS-PAGE gels.

Because the antibody is unconjugated, laboratories retain full flexibility to pair it with HRP-, biotin-, fluorophore-, or alkaline phosphatase-labeled secondary reagents depending on their detection platform.
