CHST10 (Carbohydrate Sulfotransferase 10), also called HNK-1 sulfotransferase, is a Golgi-resident enzyme that installs the human natural killer-1 (HNK-1) carbohydrate epitope on neural recognition molecules such as NCAM and L1CAM. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against human CHST10 and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. Researchers working on peripheral nerve biology, synaptic organization, and neurodevelopmental disease use anti-CHST10 antibodies to map sulfotransferase expression in dorsal root ganglia, sciatic nerve sections, and cultured neurons, and to follow changes in HNK-1 glycan biosynthesis after experimental injury or genetic manipulation. The reagent has also been applied in studies of CHST10 loss-of-function mutations associated with autosomal-recessive peripheral demyelinating neuropathy, and in oncology research where altered HNK-1 sulfation has been reported in melanoma and glioma cell lines. Supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antiserum, the antibody is intended for research use only and is reactive with human samples.
