Anti-Chromogranin A Antibody [N28-A]

A rabbit monoclonal antibody offered by Antibodies.com for detection of Chromogranin A in human samples. The reagent is supplied as a liquid formulation in Tris Buffered Saline, pH 8.0, containing 20 mg/ml BSA and 0.05% Sodium Azide, and is intended for research use only.

Clone N28-A is of the IgG isotype and is unconjugated. It is validated for immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded (IHC-P) and frozen (IHC-Fr) tissue sections, with recommended IHC dilutions of 1:100–1:200. Specificity is directed against the epitope between Arg427 and Ala453, using an immunogen derived from the C-terminal sequence of human chromogranin A. The antibody should be stored at 4°C.

Representative staining shows cytoplasmic expression of chromogranin A in normal pancreatic islets of Langerhans on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human tissue (4 µm section).
