A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against the Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor alpha 1 (CHRNA1) is offered by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG reagent. It has been validated for Western blot (WB) applications and is reactive with human and mouse samples.

The antibody was generated using a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 105-220 of human CHRNA1 (NP_000070.1), and the target protein has a molecular weight of 66 kDa. The reagent is affinity purified and supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide.

For Western blot, the recommended dilution range is 1:500-1:2,000. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
