Anti-CHN1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and purified as an IgG preparation, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets human chimerin-1 (CHN1), a brain-enriched GTPase-activating protein for the small GTPase Rac1. CHN1 combines a diacylglycerol-binding C1 domain with a RhoGAP catalytic region and is implicated in cytoskeletal remodelling, dendritic spine morphogenesis, neuronal differentiation, and T-cell receptor signalling. Mutations in CHN1 underlie Duane retraction syndrome type 2, making reliable detection of this protein relevant for ophthalmic genetics, neuroscience, and cell-signalling research. The antibody is supplied as 200 µl of liquid, validated for Western blot, and recognises the human target with the expected band near 53 kDa observed in standard SDS-PAGE workflows.
