Anti-CHN1 Antibody

CHN1 (also known as α1-chimaerin, N-chimaerin, ARHGAP2, or RhoGAP2) is a neuron-enriched signaling protein containing a diacylglycerol-responsive C1 domain and a C-terminal GAP region that inactivates Rac1 GTPase. Activity-dependent regulation of α1-chimaerin through PLC-coupled receptors recruits the protein to plasma membranes and promotes dendritic spine pruning, while gain-of-function missense mutations in CHN1 cause Duane retraction syndrome type 2 (DURS2).
